Application

Precision LED treatment to activate PRP & Stem Cells

Studies have proven when exposed to a specific wavelength of LED light, stem cells and platelet-rich plasma gets activated. This directly results in higher growth factors and cytokine levels in Platelet-Rich Plasma. This light can also enhance the proliferation and osteogenic differentiation of Mesenchymal Stem Cells.

Stem cell activation with PRP and LED light

Adipose derived Mesenchymal Stem cells can be activated by a combination of Platelet-Rich Plasma and LED light. This method is known to generate at least 20% more stem cell colonies than normal. The stem cells activated this way can be injected directly into affected joints.

Actual results on PRP using LED Cell Activator

The below is a set of levels of cyto-kine and growth factor levels from a controlled sample of LED activated and non-activated Platelet-Rich Plasma.

ffect on Amniotic Fluid Derived Stem Cells

According to this study, visible light irradiation in amniotic fluid-derived stem cells (AFSCs) in various wavelengths including blue (470 nm), green (525 nm), yellow (600 nm), and red (630 nm) can activate pluripotent gene expression and osteogenic differentiation.
